Since being recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) as an International Training Centre (ITC) for HeartSaver, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) since May 2018, VinUniversity Medical Simulation Center (VMSC) has trained numerous professionals across Vietnam.
To date, VMSC has awarded AHA certifications to 552 attendees from Vinmec hospitals and various healthcare institutions throughout Vietnam for completing courses such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

On July 24-25, 2026, VMSC marked a significant achievement by hosting its first external participant BLS course of the year, with 23 non-medical professionals from diverse sectors participating in life-saving techniques training.
Participants mastered high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills applicable to victims of any age, learning both solo and team-based emergency responses. Upon successful completion, all 23 trainees received AHA provider certificates valid for two years, gaining confidence to apply CPR knowledge in professional settings and community emergencies.
