Vinpearl designed a future leader program customized for VinUniversity students

Vinpearl Future Leaders (VFP) is a joint program designed specifically for VinUniversity students by VinUniversity and Vinpearl, Vietnam’s leading hospitality brand. The program aims to nurture and train generations of future Vinpearl leaders with solid foundational knowledge and industry experience, creative management vision, and excellent decision-making. This is a rare opportunity for our talented students to fast-track their professional growth: within 6 years from their freshman year until the second year after graduation, the top-performing students can win the opportunity to become the General Manager or Head of Department at a hotel, instead of following the common 9-12 year trajectories to the same positions.

Let’s explore the exclusive features of the program!
✔️ Right from freshman year, students are given training and job positions in core departments of the hotel. The program helps students to gain an overview of the hotel’s operations and experience the practical responsibilities of each department. These act as foundational experiences to develop our students’ future management capabilities.
✔️ Right from freshman year, students can join coaching sessions with leaders of Vinpearl to develop their systematic thinking and background knowledge of management in each field. Through these “eye-opening” training sessions, students will learn about the manager’s role, responsibilities, and concerns, which differ drastically from those of an average employee.
✔️ Students with outstanding assessment results from the freshman year internship will be selected to intern as assistants to the General Manager or the Heads of various Vinpearl’s departments, such as Marketing, Finance, and HR for their second and third year internships.
✔️ In the fourth year, the top-performing students will be offered advanced management training to prepare for taking on mid-level manager roles at Vinpearl after graduation.
The common trajectories in the industry take around 9-12 years for a student to become a General Manager or achieve other senior positions in a hotel. However, the Vinpearl Future Leader program reduces this time almost by half. Within only 6 years, from their freshman year until the second year after graduation, the top-performing students can gain the opportunity to become the General Manager or Head of Department at a hotel.
This is one of the various exclusive perks of the Vingroup Ecosystem that VinUniversity students can benefit from, along with a curriculum that not only meets international standards, but is also designed for high practicality, with numerous opportunities to intern and work in leading firms right from freshman year, as well as to get familiarized with leadership thinking from an early stage.
